Packing FAQs
A few common questions—if you’re unsure, reach out and we’ll guide you.
Do I need to bring a yoga mat?
If you have a mat you love, bring it. If not, we can provide one—just mention it in your inquiry so we can plan.
Will I need special hiking gear?
No technical gear required. Comfortable shoes with grip, a light jacket, and a daypack are usually enough for our routes.
What should I wear for ceremonies?
Comfortable, modest layers you can sit in for a while. A shawl or wrap is great for warmth and grounding.
Should I pack swimwear?
Optional. If you’d like to dip in the stream or mud pond, bring swimwear plus a quick-dry towel and sandals.
Can I do laundry on-site?
Light laundry may be possible depending on the schedule and weather. Plan for re-wearing layers and quick-dry items.
What about medications and supplements?
Bring enough for the full retreat plus a few extra days, and keep essentials in your carry-on. We also do a day-1 assessment and on-site checkups.
